I also saw on PBS a Haitian women in desprite need of a sewing machine. Her job is to sew uniforms for school kids which in turn provides an education for her children. I want to be involved. My husband and I go to autions regularly. What type of machines are you looking for specifically. Can you coustomize an electric machine to pedal? This Haitian woman was asking for material as well. I'm don't have much myself but the quilters I talk to hord material:') As a sewer, teacher and mom its something practical I could help with. What I can offer is finding machines, and material to donate. I just need where to send it. Working part-time I don't have much to offer but I can do that. I did see your work on T.V.!
