mending communities, one sewing machine at a time

Quilt Expo 2008

Today was opening day of Quilt Expo 2008 here in Madison, Wisconsin. What a great crowd, what positive energy, what a wonderful group of people! The Sewing Machine Project has a booth at Quilt Expo for the first time this year and many people stopped by the see what it was all about. Additionally, I spoke on one of the presentation stages at 1:15 and will do that again tomorrow and Saturday. The crowd was so receptive and many people stopped by the booth after I was done speaking. Overall, the show opened with a bang and it’ll be fun to return tomorrow and see what a new day brings. Thank you again, Nancy Zieman, for hosting this great event and for welcoming The Sewing Machine Project to take part.
