mending communities, one sewing machine at a time

Midwest Donations Update

I am still looking to establish a connection for distributing machines to those who lost theirs earlier this year in the terrible flooding in the Midwest. This arm of the project is on hold temporarily until a partnership has been made. Check back for updates.

We would like to know more about how we could be a part of this project. We are located in Celina, Ohio (northwestern Ohio), and we would like to know more aobut becoming a drop-off site, etc.

We are a Janome and Brother authorized sewing machine dealer, and we are capable of repairing machines for the project. We have been involved in sending good used machines with our church group to several missions, and we are always looking for other ways to be a “servant” by using our talents.

Thanks for any information that you can give to us. We would be glad to spread the word and help by becoming a drop-off point. And we would be glad to test sew and repair the machines that are dropped off here. Our e-mail address is above. Our physical address is: Linda’s Sew ‘n So, 216 W. Fayette Street, Celina, Ohio 45822. Our phone number is 419-586-2324. Please let us know how we can help. We often have customers asking what they can do with their old machines. We have suggested churches and nursing homes in the past. But your project sounds great.

    Linda
